From 2016 to now –  who would have thought this would be where the road would lead?

We both had a chance to ask the other to get married and we both answered yes.

We met at Action Cricket after communicating on social media for about 4 years.  We landed up by the garage next door because he didn’t drink-  juice and barone, is how I remember our first meeting.  Leonel will tell you he remembers that night due to all the wrong impressions I made because of poor word choices.

Through all the wrongs we both saved each other from something – I saved Leonel from working his life away and he saved me from throwing mine away.

Leonel knew from the first time that we met that I would be “the one” (however I wasn’t so sure)

After all the Sunday ice creams and late pavement chats, we actuallybecame good friends and moved in together- this was the beginningof a very rocky road with rocks like mountains but it led us here sowe can both agree it was worth the sweat and tears.

It was never easy but always real – our roads kept leading to each other, now it is the place we both call home.
